Multigenre Project Proposal
I think what I am going to do for my final project is write a literacy narritive on how I didn't like reading poems before this class, but now it isn't that bad. The only thing is that im not sure if I have enough information to write 5 pages.

Brittany, One way to make your 5 page mark is to think of specific poems that changed your attitude about that genre. If you quote certain sections from these poems and then comment specifically on how these poems affected you, this should offer some good material for your narrative.
You might also consider how you structure your introduction and conclusion to this narrative...since this piece is focused on you, you can really take your time discussing how you didn't like reading poems at the beginning of the semester. Can you think of what might have influenced you to feel this way - such as previous negative English class experiences, a lack of exposure to different types of poetry, an unsuccessful attempt trying to write a poem yourself, etc. For an essay like this, it is acceptable to have a 1 to 1 1/2 page introduction that explores these experiences. It is also okay to have a longer conclusion in which you explain your beliefs about poetry now. Hopefully these ideas will give you some guidance on how you might structure the narrative and make the 5-page goal!
